We have assembled a team of leading professionals, each bringing with them a wealth of knowledge in the football industry, from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
All of our agents are FA Registered Intermediaries, and are fully compliant with all of the governing body’s rules and regulations. Our team also boasts a number of experienced professionals occupying unique, progressive and insightful roles, meaning we have every angle covered in order to deliver World Class Player Care to our clients.
As such, we have worked with all 92 clubs in the English football pyramid, as well as all professional clubs in Scotland and the Republic of Ireland. We also have an extensive network of partners in foreign territories, including mainland Europe, North America and Asia, in order to pursue foreign opportunities for our clients.
Tony Kerr
Managing Director
Over the past 30 years, Tony has built a hugely successful career in the banking and financial technology sectors, including as founder and CEO of Global Processing Services (GPS), a payment processing partner of today’s leading Fintech brands such as PPRO, Revolut and Starling Bank. A former senior business manager at leading organisations such as Salomon Brothers, UBS and JP Morgan, Tony is an expert negotiator and business strategist, and remains on the GPS Board as a Non-Executive Director. In 2019, alongisde his long-time business partner Neil Weeks, Tony co-founded New Vision Sports Group, bringing his business expertise and leadership to the football agency industry.
Neil Weeks
Director of Sport
Having built a formidable reputation in the early 2000s, speacilaising in financing the shipping, geothermal and offshore drilling sectors for both Continental and Clarksons, Neil was appointed Director of Business Development and Marketing at IDT Financial at the age of 27. After collaborating with Tony Kerr and GPS in that role, Neil went on to join GPS as Chief Commerical Officer in 2013, overseeing rapid global growth and unparalled commercial success, as GPS became a payment processing partner for the leading brands in the Fintech sector. In 2019, Neil co-founded New Vision Sports Group with Tony Kerr, overseeing the strategic development of the business.
Lee Dixon
Director & Mentor
A former England international who represented his country 22 times at senior level, Lee had an exemplary career as a professional footballer, making 800 appearances over a 20 year period. Lee’s most successful spell came at Arsenal FC, where he made 619 appearances, winning the Premier League twice, the FA Cup three times, and the European Cup Winners Cup amongst other honours. After his retirement from playing the game, Lee forged a successful media career, regularly appearing on BBC’s Match Of The Day, before switching to ITV in 2012. Lee is also the lead co-commentator on NBC’s coverage of the Premier League, and is a featured co-commentater in the EA Sports’ FIFA ‘19, FIFA ‘20 and FIFA ‘21 games. Lee joined New Vision as a Non-Executive Director in 2020, providing guidance and mentorship for our clients.
David Seaman
Director & Mentor
An iconic figure in English football, David Seaman won 75 England senior caps over a 15 year international career, representing his country at two World Cups, and two European Championships. Having started his career at Leeds David went on to spend 13 seasons at Arsenal FC, and is widely considered to be the club’s greatest ever goalkeeper, having won the Premier League twice, as well as the former First Division title, four FA Cups, a League Cup, and European Cup Winners Cup. Having played over 1000 professional matches in his career, David also represented Queens Park Rangers, Birmingham City, Peterborough United and Manchester City – where he retired from the game aged 40. Post-retirement, David has combined a successful media career with a number of business interests, and joined New Vision as a Non-Executive Director in 2021, supporting and mentoring our clients.
Robbie Simpson
Non-Executive Director
During his 13-year career as a professional footballer, Robbie represented nine different clubs throughout the Football League pyramid, and is currently the player-manager at Chelmsford City FC with a UEFA B Licence coaching qualification. In 2017 Robbie established LAPS: Life After Professional Sport, a company providing strategic career advice for athletes post-retirement. Robbie is also a qualified financial advisor, providing bespoke personal plans and preparing athletes with the financial stability they long for their future. A Non-Executive Director of New Vision Sports Group since 2019, Robbie’s unique set of experiences bring a valuable perspective to our team when creating strategic career plans for players, as well as helping clients who will go on to have careers post-professional football.
Olivia Weeks
Marketing Director
Having previously lead marketing departments in both Banking with IDT Financial Services and Financial Technology with Crunch Payments and Global Processing Services, Olivia brings her experience and expertise of creating brands and implementing marketing strategies to the Sports Management sector, with New vision Sports Group. Over her career Olivia has been the key figure for building successful brands and branding that has won multiple awards at events such as, The Emerging Payments Awards, FinTech Futures and Paybefore Magazine.
Sue Parris
Head of Welfare
With a background in education and mental health, supporting young people and staff on an emotional level has been Sue’s passion for over 25 years. Prior to joining New Vision, Sue worked at Brighton and Hove Albion FC as Education, Welfare and Player Services Manager for eight years, which was held up as an exemplar of best practice by the Premier League and EFL. Sue’s role is to provide support to the ‘person ahead of the player’, an approach to well-being which sits at the centre of our World Class Player Care model. Sue has also worked as a Head of Department at a Sixth Form College delivering all levels of education. A mother and grandmother, Sue served as a host parent to many young professional players at BHAFC for seven years, and ensures the welfare of our clients is catered for, in the stressful world of professional football.
Mark Andrews
Data Analyst
With a background in data analysis in football for the statistical research company SmartOdds, Mark holds a Masters in Science and Sports Business degree from Loughbrough University. Aftee developing cutting-edge uses of data analytics in the professional gambling industry, Mark’s first role working for a football club came in 2015 when he joined Brenftord FC as a Recruitment Analyst, providing data-based scouting reports on players for the first team Manager, Director of Football, and Owner. Mark also worked as a Recruitment Analyst for Chelsea FC Women’s team, bringing a wide range of knowledge of both the mens and womens game. Responsible for developing the use of data analytics at New Vision, Mark ensures we operate in an evidence-based culture in order to maximise our client’s careers.
Jonathan Douglas
Intermediary
A native of Monaghan, Ireland, Jonathan enjoyed a successful career as a professional footballer, making over 550 appearances in the Premier League, Championship and League One, and also represented the Republic of Ireland on nine occasions. With a UEFA B Licence coaching qualification, Jonathan is also studying for a Master's degree in Sporting Directorship at Manchester Metropolitan University. As such, Jonathan has a variety of experiences, which allow him to truly appreciate the various levels adjacent to a football club. Jonathan has been a registered intermediary since retiring as a professional player in 2017, and possesses both the academics of the sporting industry and experience of playing the game, leaving him in an unrivalled position to give players strategic advice on their own careers.
Brian Morris
Intermediary
With a career in professional football spanning two decades, Brian is extremely experienced in the area of player recruitment, particularly at academy level. Brian joined New Vision after a successful four-year spell at Bolton Wanderers FC, where he occupied the role of Head Of Academy Recruitment. During that time, Brian played a significant role as the club reached the 2nd & 3rd ranking in England for producing homegrown players for the first team under the Premier League’s EPPP guidelines. This resulted in Bolton Wanderers naming their youngest team ever to play in the Football League in 2019. Brian holds the Football Association’s Level 4 Talent Management award, as well as holding a UEFA B Licence coaching qualification.
Advisory Board
Established in 2020, our Advisory Board meet quarterly to provide strategic guidance and advice to the management and directors of the company. The company has committed that the Advisory Board is to contain five people, including a minimum of two women, and two people from black and minority communities, in order to assess the effectiveness of the company’s promise to live by it’s stated behaviours and values, adhere to it’s own gender and race diversity policies and best serve it’s clients.
